1. Conical Slot Screens

Open Area 24% / 26%

Advantages over round hole screens
Greater percentages of open area of 25% compared with 17%.
Conical slots prevent clogging of the holes by deposits of sugar because of the greater open area on the outside of the screen.
These screens will retain more small grains with less “smear” than a round hole screen.
Faster purging and lower purity molasses.

2. Round Hole Screens

Hole Size 0,50mm
Open Area 17%

All screens are fitted as rolled in the container.

Continuous Centrifugals

The electroforming process imparts a mirror-smooth surface, without any burrs or bumps. The conical hole shape reduces binding and clogging. All screens are made so that the length of the slot is radially aligned in multiple arc segments. This ensures a maximum crystal separation efficiency.
