For years Calcor / SUGAREQUIP has been manufacturing and marketing the successful Batch Pan automatic pan boiling systems (i.e. the Auto-Pan and the Auto-Grain), based on conductivity measurement.

As the conductivity measuring circuit in the Auto-Pan has shown itself to be very accurate and reliable, Calcor/SUGAREQUIP was asked three years ago by one leading sugar manufacturer in South Africa to incorporate this conductivity measuring circuit design into a new instrument for a 8, 12 or 16 cell continuous pan.

The result of this newly developed instrument is a conductivity transmitter with twelve independent measuring circuits each producing a 4-20 mA DC output signal equivalent to a conductivity range of 0 - 20 mmho conductance.
